Outcomes
At the end of the Induction workshop SGBs will be able to:
- Understanding of policy development/review processeso acquire practical skills and competencies relevant to their fields of interest, preparing them for future academic or career pursuits.
- Foster collaboration among School Governing Bodies (SGBs) and School Management Teams (SMTs), encouraging teamwork and shared responsibility in policy development.
- Engage in drafting policies, providing practical experience that will aid in the development of well-structured, relevant policies for their schools.
- Emphasize strategies for the effective implementation of policies, ensuring that they are not only developed but also enacted successfully.
- Establish a foundation for ongoing onsite support that schools can utilize as they navigate the complexities of policy development and implementation.
